Shenstone Environment Group
Shenstone Environment Group is based at Shenstone Community Library. We are supported by Shenstone Parish Council in relation to its environmental policy, and guided by the Green Libraries Manifesto which the library’s management team signed in January 2023
Shenstone Environment Group
Our aim is to inform and inspire people to take positive action to address environmental damage and to raise awareness of issues around climate breakdown. Underpinning this is a desire to celebrate the diversity of our wildlife.
We run events and activities throughout the year, we have a wildlife garden, recycling centre, monthly repair café, and a thermal camera available for Staffordshire library users to borrow.
We're passionate about the environment in our village, and beyond, for us, and for future generations.

SHENSTONE COMMUNITY LIBRARY
SEG originated as a working group at the ever popular Shenstone Community Library. Our group is based at the library and we hold our regular meetings at the library as well as working with the Library committee and Staffs libraries closely to develop new projects, initiatives and increase our recycling options for the community here.
